The aim of this project is to provide a list, and where available biographies, of King's College London staff from the foundation of the College in 1829 to 1900.

The project started in October 2015 with a group from the University of the Third Age taking part in a Shared Learning Project with the Archives at King's College London researching the lives of 19th century staff from King's. The group used a wide variety of sources from within our holdings, in particular the Secretary's in-correspondence, and elsewhere to add short biographies to our list of staff which includes domestic, administrative and technical staff as well as academics.

The group enjoyed the research so much that they returned and continued their work for a second term!
