Dix, Cyril Bernard

Lieut. Cyril Bernard Dix. Entered Hospital 2nd October, 1914. Voluntarily enlisted in the Artists' Rifles, November 22nd, 1915, and gained commissioned rank as 2nd Lieut. 8th East Surreys, in May, 1917. Killed in action while leading his platoon to attack at Zillebeke (Belgium), August 10th, 1917. Age 20. Guy's Hospital Reports Vol.LXX, War Memorial Number
